# Welcome

**BattleBoosters** is a fantasy <mark style="color:yellow;">MMA NFT card game</mark> that offers players a thrilling, immersive experience based on real MMA league fights. It allows players to collect, trade, and compete using NFT Fighters and Boosters in a strategic, tournament-based environment.

The game is built on [Solana blockchain technology](https://solana.com), ensuring that all in-game assets, such as NFT Fighters and Boosters, are unique, tradable, and fully owned by the players.

## **Introduction to the Game**

BattleBoosters brings together the excitement of MMA with the world of NFT collectibles. Every weekend, real MMA league fights are organized into three categories:

## **How the Game Works**

### **1 - Acquiring NFT Fighters & Boosters**

Players start by acquiring [NFT Fighters](/battleboosters-docs/assets/nft-fighter.md) through packs, which are priced at $9.99 for 5 NFT Fighters. [Boosters](/battleboosters-docs/assets/nft-boosters.md), which enhance gameplay, are available for purchase at $0.99 each for 5 NFT Boosters.

Assets purchased through the official BattleBoosters website are immediately accessible in-game. However, they need to be minted on the blockchain if players wish to withdraw them. [NFT Fighters](/battleboosters-docs/assets/nft-fighter.md) acquired from external sources must be deposited into the game via the website to be usable in tournaments.

### **2 - Entering Tournaments**

With [NFT Fighters ](/battleboosters-docs/assets/nft-fighter.md)in their collection, players can enter tournaments by navigating to the [draft](https://www.battleboosters.com/dashboard/draft) tab. Tournaments are categorized similarly to MMA league events into "Early prelims," "Prelims," and the "Main card."

1. For each fight in a tournament, players must select the fighter they believe will win the match.&#x20;
2. They then assign one of their [NFT Fighters](/battleboosters-docs/assets/nft-fighter.md) to represent that prediction, choosing a combat style (grappling or striking) that closely matches the actual fighter's style in the upcoming match.
3. Additionally, players can enhance their chances by assigning one [booster](/battleboosters-docs/assets/nft-boosters.md) per category: [**Points**](/battleboosters-docs/assets/nft-boosters.md#points-booster) (points multiplier), [**Shield**](/battleboosters-docs/assets/nft-boosters.md#shield-booster) (increases the life of the NFT Fighter, reducing damage taken),

### **3 -** Scoring and Damage Evaluation

After each tournament match, players can review the performance of their [NFT Fighters](/battleboosters-docs/assets/nft-fighter.md) and [Boosters](/battleboosters-docs/assets/nft-boosters.md).

The scoring system evaluates both the number of points collected during combat and the damage dealt. Each fighter’s points are determined by correct fight predictions, while damage is calculated based on the fighter’s performance, including successful use of boosters. Players can analyze these stats to refine their strategies for future tournaments.

### **4 - Collecting Rewards**

Once the tournament ends, players can check their rankings and claim rewards based on their performance.&#x20;
